There's someone else, a regular contributor on here, who can provide MORE info on Camaro Group 5 racers, as he has built, owned and raced one. Oldtimer is the guy. I've always had a soft spot for Group 5s of all sorts and race series for some strange reason. I dislike recent NASCAR racers and criticize them for not being production race cars. Yet I like Group 5 racers. I've worked professionally on a few of them in 1/1 scale. Including perhaps the most successful Camaro Group 5. Les Lindley's. I installed NASCAR door bars on 2 of his Camaros when SCCA upped the safety rules to require them. Most GT1, Trans Am, IMSA GT/GTO/GTU race cars then had top and bottom rails in the door area with a 'V' or an 'X' between.

Great looking dash! The gauges and switches are very convincing.

The electronic dash of today's race cars provides a lot more information but I still like the look of analog gauges.

Considering it started as a regular Curbside Starter kit, this guy is amazing, everything is scratchbuilt from there and he averages about 4 to 6 weeks per build.. AMAZING Chris

Those belts look almost the same as the belts in my Tilt Toyota I shared above. Those came with the Tilt kit, except the Tilt ones are black belts.
This chassis has come out great.

Thanks for stopping in and commenting folks. The Belts are from PRO TECH. They are the easiest Racing harness set that I've used. You don't have to do any bending at all. I've used R&M of Maryland (good)...Studio 27 (good)...Detail Master(ok)...Model car Garage(ok). The belt material is a little thicker than the tissue paper that is used by most. It's also easy to color. I used a wedged tip red sharpie on this set, worked out great. I wanted to add belt manufacture logo on them but didn't find the decals until I had them mounted. Soooo...the next build will have them.. One thing about the Logos I found so far is...that NO ONE makes racing harness belt logos specifically for the racing harness except Studio27....And those are of European manufactures. NO U.S. companies at all. Of course one can search for them on the contingency stickers from some of the NASCAR kits..(which I've done in the past) and that works.
