Thank you for the heads up Chris. I haven't been to C1 in quite sometime. That decal sheet really looks similar to the Studio27 sheet. I guess maybe they would... if they're going to replicate the European racing scene...LOL

Very nice job!
It's a shame those seat belt sets aren't made for 5-point, which is appropriate for an upright seat like in this Capri or any other Group5 or 4 or 2, or rally cars, Trans Am, etc.
Not all race cars have lay down driver position. And many lay down cars SHOULD have 7-point belts.

The set of belts that are in this Capri are 5pt. It might be hard to see in the chassis wip shots...but they're there..

Thanks for stopping in and commenting Chris. I think this paint scheme is a little more interesting than the Black WURTH car is. I want to do the full Detail build of the Jagermeister car but that will be down the road sometime.

Gary, I just read through your entire build, and to say that I'm more then impressed is putting it mildly. Your modeling skills are simply outstanding, and your vast knowledge of your subject really is a plus. The finish looks outstanding especially those decals.
One thing you might want to consider for your next build is not using a clear gloss base for decaling. a smooth painted surface is all that you need, and it eliminates one full layer that needs to be rubbed out. My Lotus Type 72E is decal on rubbed out and polished paint, but not waxed till after decaling and sealing them.

Hey Joel...thanks for stopping in and commenting. The paint on the Capri has no gloss coat at all. I did rub it out to get it smooth. The Decals have no clear over them. 99% of the time I do not clear after the Decals are applied. I have shot clear before hand and applied the decals it's turned out just fine. I never wax a build that hasn't any clear over the decals. It will eat them up. First hand experience on that...

Gary, I've been clear gloss coating over decals to both seal them, and protect them from yellowing, then after a light rubbing out for Military aircraft I'd apply a coat of Dullcoat. For gloss finishes I just give the clear gloss finish the full Monty, the finish up with Tamiya Wax for now. Joel
