In the thread about a Ford Gt 40, discussion got onto a resin engine kit available from Historic Racing Miniatures. I've been aware of that kit for some time and have a Fujimi GT40 Chassis 1075 1968 Le Mans winner. It was suggested to go to Red Frog Hobbies to buy that item, as well as Model Builders Warehouse. MBW is sold out for that item. Red Frog's website is not working. I've tried for several days to buy the item and no joy. I add it to my cart, then try to buy it and the site then tells me nothing is in my cart, but if I go back to the cart, it shows the HRM kit. If I try to add it to the cart again, it shows 2 of them. But still when I go to buy, it again says there is nothing in my cart. Right now my cart shows 3 of the kits. Red Frog is not answering their phone and the voicemail box is full and won't accept a new message.
Oh well, the Ford GT kit can sit waiting for a few more years. I have PLENTY of others to work on.

HRM is literally a one-man operation. His products sell so well he is always struggling to produce enough product to meet the demand. My best suggestion is to work with Randy at MBW. I know HRM is working on an order for Randy as we speak. Not sure if the GT40 engine set is on the list but would think so.

I had some similar weird issues with Grand Prix Models web site last year. They were solved by first logging into my account and then shopping. (As opposed to shopping and then logging in when placing the order.) Don't know if this is of any help, but figured it wouldn't hurt to let you know about it.

Interesting idea logging in before preparing an order, and it makes sense. Many on-line vendors won't let you buy until you've registered 1st, then logged in with them. That would be fine, but I find no means to register with Red Frog. But my cart still lists 3 HRM Ford GT40 engine kits. Not that I plan to BUY 3 kits. But I've already deleted a couple or 3 times. So now I'm leaving it alone until the site works for me or I give up entirely on them. I know that HRM is is a 1-man show, and I very much appreciate that.

Just posted this on the thread re Slim's Ford GT40 Mk2. But I really should have been posting it here:
I got a response via email from John @ Red Frog this evening.
"Richard, this is John. You are one of a couple people this has happened to. I'm calling our webhost service, let me see what is up!"
So I thanked him and will wait to see what shakes out. If it turns out that I'll need to wait a couple of months for the product, OK. As long as I know I can actually buy it.
