I like the paint scheme too. I'm not sure how I feel about steelies on a Corvette though.

One of the L88 Corvette's claim to fame was 8 x 15 steel wheels. The neat thing about them was that was the maximum width wheel for A Sedan, and maybe A Production.
Many of us racing A Sedan could get an over-the-counter wheel from the local Chevy store.
Wasn't unusual to see a number of GM competitors at an SCCA Regional/National weekend running Corvette steel wheels.
