Impressive build indeed. What did you use for the top of the dash?

Great model. Nice to see one of those old IMSA cars.

I’ve admired this car in your avatar pic. It’s great to see some larger pics! Very well done!

Sweet. How much of the body sides did you scratch? Did you start with NASCAR sides? Or Roush Mustang sides? Or?

That's a real beauty! And the fact that it is mostly scratchbuilt is even more impressive.

Well although you say that you had no idea...The model looks good and right. I'm sure that with the skin off, the Roush chassis is incorrect in many ways. But with the body on, we don't see that. And at least the Revell/Monogram Roush Mustang chassis is a fair representation of what it is supposed to be. A tube frame front engine rear wheel drive road race chassis to fit under the skin of a car of the Mustang's general size and shape. And a Roush design at that for the Roush mustangs. Many other Trans Am and IMSA GT cars of the era and to this day look much the same or at least quite similar under the skin. I've professionally worked on some of the 1:1 scale cars, so I know. But you did quite a nice job on the body from what I can see looking at your pictures. You even got the stance better than an out of the box build of the Roush Mustang kit or Peerless Camaro model kit based on the same chassis.

Bill, Looking forward to the day when you post finished pictures of your model. So far from what I've seen, your attention to detail is simply amazing. Joel
