Well, I haven't posted in a bit of time and I haven't changed at all!! I took a Marx Cooper T60 Hong Kong toy and made some changes...what I started with... So, as a T60 ots not that good, but as the T62 there is a bit of latitude...the nose was the worst...a bit of a gaper So I tried to use some old (2-3 years old that is!) Milliput...Not a good solution... Scrap that idea!! So I used my vac-form machine and made a new nose, a bit easier however... I added the cam cover bump on the right side of the engine cowl and the carb cover... then I sanded, primed, and painted the body... [img src=" Made up an interior with a dash full of made bezels of wire and clear glass by a water based glue... Finally the finished car, er toy, er model...a Cooper T62 Coventry -Climax in Tasman form. not one of my best, but a tad better looking than the toy. Patrick

Turned out great for what you started with Patrick. What did you use the chassis/suspension?

Patrick,
You scored again with this one. Great way to repurpose a simple toy.

I love this type of project! Taking toys which can only loosely be considered as models and turning them into something amazing. Great work!

Turned out great for what you started with Patrick. What did you use the chassis/suspension? Well, don't tell everyone, but my thanks to the Monogram 427 Cobra (which is now a very low rider) offered the front and rear suspension. I am such a lazy guy! El Gato

Very nice work, Patrick! Just one question: why didn't you re-install that fabulous, life-like Bruce McLaren figure?
