Cool! The paint scheme was pretty. And Chris Amon was a driver who I felt should have won more often than he did. The spool of solder suggests you're going to fabricate some headers. Did Reg Parnell's team use different headers than Team Lotus? Or did they use a Repco V8 instead of the Climax?

Most of my hobby stuff is in packing boxes now but I've kept this out to work with. The Parnell team used the BRM V8 except at one race in Austria when engine trouble caused them to borrow or rent a Climax engine. Since the Lotus 25 chassis was built for a Climax the Parnell team made it fit and used it with the Lotus type exhaust. I intend to build another Parnell car with the BRM engine and the solid core 1/16" solder will work for the exhaust in that build.

Excellent choice! What color are the wheels? I like the idea of having both engine types. The BRM was not as tall as the Climax as I recall.
