Fiat Competition Fuel Coupe Built for the 2018 TRaK Autorama, in the Competiton category. Inspired by the wild chopped Fiats run back in the day by Flamin' Frank Pedragon, Pete Millar (The Chicken Coupe) and Eddie Potter (Sudden Death). Below are the build particulars along with additional photos. Thanx for lookin’, B. - Base kit: MPC Ramchargers FED: Chassis, rear end, interior controls and seat
- Body: Chopped Fiat Competition Coupe by Fremont Resins, including medium wheelbase nose option. Roof and rear window areas added using styrene sheet.
- Motor and clutch: 392 Chrysler from AMT Piranha kit. Scot Super Slot injection by Altered States Models
- Front Suspension and steering: From Revell Tony Nancy ,Double Dragster kit.
- Rear Wheels and Tires: Wheels from Tony Nancy kit, AMT Parts Pack Tires
- Front Wheels and Tires: TruWire hand laced wire wheels by Curt Raitz at miniscurtraitzing.com, Dunlop tires from Tony Nancy Kit.
- Paint: Tamiya Transparent Red over Testors Pure Gold lacquer. Tamiya clear coats over delf-design and custom printed gold decals.

Cool beans! I love the wire wheels, They look vastly superior to the wire wheels provided in most dragster kits.

Thanks. Yeah, those wire wheels from Curt Raitz really do the business. He makes them in diameters for 1/24th, 1/25th. and 1/16th scales. They're relatively affordable, too, at between $30-45 + shipping depending on diameter. He sells on eBay as crtr8z or buy direct by emailing him at ceraitz@gmail.com.
