I built this a few years ago, and don't worry, it is the old Monogram version. I wanted to do something really different. I still am considering getting it dirty as there is some slight silvering to a couple of the decals. I also want to do a hauler for it but have not figured out if I want to go with a pickup and trailer or a ramp truck. Lots of heavy modification to the body, minor mods to the cage, and a custom one off Ferrari V8. 20190309_173437 by Sam Grabenhorst, on Flickr 20190309_173506 by Sam Grabenhorst, on Flickr 20190309_173522 by Sam Grabenhorst, on Flickr 20190309_173541 by Sam Grabenhorst, on Flickr 20190309_173552 by Sam Grabenhorst, on Flickr 20190309_173613 by Sam Grabenhorst, on Flickr

That is totally cool! I would love to see it run on the local dirt track. Can you imagine the reaction if someone converted a real 250 GTO into a modified!

That is really different and thinking out of the box! Very nice and cool concept plus great execution!

Nice build Sam and it's not inconceivable that a GTO might have been chopped up into a modified. Chassis 3589GT was donated to a high school and the students worked on it as a project. It was then left abandoned rotting away in a field for several years. www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/3589GT.250GTO.htm

Man Sam...what a cool idea! I also would like to see this puppy on the track. A custom Ferrari V-8...that in itself is waaay cool. A very good-looking Modified Sam.

Thanks everyone, this one was real fun to build. I have a couple more warped ideas in my head that hopefully will find their way to the bench.

Sam, A true "What if" for sure. One thing for sure is that you did one heck of a job building it.
