Silly season is really just that, so I take everything with more then a grain of Salt. Now I can see Riccairdo leaving Renault if the opportunity presents itself for any of the better teams especially Ferrari, which just may have an open seat, but I'm not counting on it as just where would Vettel actually go that makes sense, as long as he doesn't retire from F1.
I had to laugh when I saw Bottas's name linked to Ferrari's wish list. Why in the world would he want to leave Mercedes? After all he's treated like almost an equal to Hamilton, and gets a car that can win every race.

JC and Joel, it would be ironic if Ricardo went to Ferrari and replaced Vettel. That would be the second time he would replace him. Redbull and now Ferrari. Its going to be verrrry interesting as Artie from laugh-in would say. LOL

Sure hope that all your F1 fans got to watch one of best races of the year, maybe the best as the Hungarian race was a two car duel to the bitter end. Verstappen in his Red Bull got pole and nearly went wire to wire, but Hamilton in his Mercedes caught and past him for the led with just a few laps to go. Mercedes decided on a last min tire change to, while Verstappen only chance for a win was trying to make his hard compound tires last. Hamilton slowly but surely reeled him in as Max's tires were gone. He still had to stop with one lap to go as his tires were undrivable.
I still don't understand the Red Bull decision not to bring Max in for new Reds one lap after Hamilton pitted. What difference would it have made if Hamilton passed him while he was in the pits. Both Mercedes and Red Bull said that Max's tires wouldn't last, and they didn't.
Still, this was F1 at it's finest, and worth watching it from start to finish.

Joel, your right one of the best race’s in years. Mercedes rolled the dice and came up ace’s. Hamilton drove the best laps I have seen in a long time. Down 20 second ‘s with 20 laps to go and he pull it off shows when he’s on he’s one of the best ever. Verstappen could do nothing to stop it. Red Bull definitely blew it. Should of came in next lap. At lest they would have had a fighting chance.

Toro Rosso Formula 1 driver Alexander Albon will join the main Red Bull team from the Belgian Grand Prix onwards, replacing Pierre Gasly.
Gasly was drafted into the primary Red Bull line-up as a replacement for Daniel Ricciardo for 2019, having impressed in his first full season in F1 with Toro Rosso the year before. However, the Frenchman has struggled badly alongside Max Verstappen over the first half of the season, scoring 63 points and no podiums to the Dutchman's 181 points and two wins. Red Bull, which had claimed Gasly's seat was secure until the end of the season, will now promote Albon alongside Verstappen, with the Anglo-Thai racer having surpassed expectations in his own debut campaign with Toro Rosso in 2019. "Red Bull are in the unique position of having four talented Formula One drivers under contract who can be rotated between the [senior Red Bull] Team and Toro Rosso," the energy drink giant's statement read. "The Team will use the next nine races to evaluate Alex’s performance in order to make an informed decision as to who will drive alongside Max in 2020." Red Bull also confirmed that Gasly will return to Toro Rosso, where he will partner Daniil Kvyat. Kvyat, who was himself relegated from Red Bull to Toro Rosso mid-season three years ago to make way for Verstappen, scored Toro Rosso's first podium since 2008 in the mixed-weather German Grand Prix last month. He has amassed 27 points to rookie Albon's 16.

JC, So this move earlier today, as it's been a hot rumor on the F1 boards & You Tube. Albon should really make Red Bull Ferrari's nightmare as there just isn't a weak link, so they better watch their butts.
Glasy was just horrendous all season long, and was regularly beat by a good many of the mid field teams. I'm betting that by 2020 or 2021 the latest Red Bull will dump him period.

JC, Clearly he's rattled by Leclerc whose taken over as #1 Driver with back to back wins. He really needs to settle down, and even see someone to help him regain his focus as he's been making way to many mistakes, especially for a former World Champion.
