I’m wondering if any of the detail parts makers produce high-quality wheels and tires that’d be appropriate for the 1/24th scale DDP 908K kit I just received. I’ve done a bit of googling, but not knowing if what I’m trying to replace were factory wheels or from one of the major rim-makers, I’ve gotten nowhere. The rims I need look like these: Source: forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-used-parts-sale-wanted/713235-fs-rsr-917-908-magnesium-center-lock-wheels.htmlFrom the way the ad’s written, I suspect I should be looking for Porsche 917 factory wheels & tires. Anyone know for certain that these were Porsche OEM?

The Fujimi Porsche 917 kit includes a beautiful set of these wheels. Wish I new of an aftermarket source because I could use a set or two myself. Porsche's werk teams ran these wheels on a few different models.

They do look good, and the stated dimensions at geminimodelcars.com, who had better pricing and postage rates for the same part number, come within two or three sheets-of-paper tolerances to what DDP shipped me. (I busted out the dial caliper and the calculator.). Ordered.
I’d have felt bad buying a Fujimi 917 just for its rims and tires. Like ordering a roast chicken just to eat its feet, and then throwing the chicken over my shoulder. (Okay, I did just that with a Fujimi 356 for the Deeks RS60, but that was during the Fax Age, and we had nothin’!)
