My next commision build is going to be a 1/8 DeAgostini Porsche 911 conversion to a RSR wide wheel arches by m-tec, painted in zero paints Gulf Orange. There will be a couple of other modifications during the build, such as cutting out the number plate in the front bumper but I will come to those later in the build. This is going to be a complete build not just paint work as in my Mustang thread. I have already stripped the original paint off the body work, a little clean up still to be done. Next step is the add the resin wheel arches and then prime everything. Thanks Chris www.wardsmodelbuilder.comwardsmodelbuilder@outlook.com

A little progress on the 1/8 DeAgostini Porsche 911 conversion. I have now epoxy glued the resin wheel arches onto the metal body. and started the process of blending them into the body shape which filler and sanding. More to follow soon. Chris www.wardsmodelbuilder.comwardsmodelbuilder@outlook.com

Chris, Looking really good so far. I'm always interested in seeing how upgrading, detailing, or just repainting a metal kit is accomplished, as it's a skill I do need to learn sooner then later.

Chris, That came out GREAT!! I can really appreciate the body work and paint, working with metal is a different proposition than plastic. Congratulations on a very convincing build!! Love the Color too, what is it? Chris

Chris, Oh WOW !!
I'm just blown away at how well those rear wheel fenders came out. They're darn perfect. As usual, one of your outstanding paint and finishing jobs. Just super impressive.
