I always liked the Valvoline cars. Blue and white just seem to look good together, like black and gold, its a natural fit. I sometimes use Testors enamels too, other than the curing time I think they give a great finish. Also I'm used to them over the years, and it gives extra colour options. Thats going to be a sharp looking car.

Shayne, Boy does that front shell look nice. As for the Tamiya LP paints, they're supposed to be the equal to Mr. Color. Personally I can't wait for them to hit the USA shores. None of my online resources carry them as yet.

Well the holidays are over and a new job, so a poor excuse but my small brain is not focusing well on all the new work info and then trying to settle into some model time. But this one has taken so long now, no need to rush it... I got into the tyres and wheels. Wheels were painted with Tamiya TS6 Flat Black and then TS29 Semi Gloss Black, tyres were sanded and then washed and placed onto the wheels. I then went and applied the rub on lettering, which i am not a great fan of, but luckily all went well. I will eventually do some extra detailing and possibly tone them down with the weathering kit.

Shayne, Those wheels & tires really do look good. You could have fooled me by saying that they're the real deal. And good luck with the new job. Joel

Shayne, Decaling always makes the model takes to the next visual level. Those decals are amazing for ones that are 26 year's old.

I'd say it looks darn good. One would be hard pressed to find decals as old as those, and still preform that well.

shayne, One can really see just what a perfect paint job, finish, & polish you applied in those pictures, especially the last one. Just really loving this build. So much so that I'm finally getting the itch to try a few of the AMT kits I have in the stash. just need to finally figure out how to correctly cut off the front suspension arms, then pin them so that everything fits correctly when the time comes.
