Hello friends,
Sorry for suddenly disappearing. It has been a tough few weeks. Long story short, my father in law passed away 3 days ago. Needless to say I'm supporting the family since we took him to the hospital several weeks ago. I haven't been home in over a week and missed work this whole week. Still a lot to do and we have to make sure we look after my wife, her mother and brothers. I hope to get back home next week and hopefully back to the workbench and the forums.
Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, I’m sorry to hear your dealing with a family passing. My prayers are with you and family. Just be strong for your wife and support her in the next few months. It’s going to be a while for things to be close to normal. I went through this just a few years ago. All the best.

Thanks guys!
I'm back home and will try to get up to speed on the board. I see a lot of activity I missed. Needless to say, no workbench action in weeks. Not even sure when I'll get back to it but glad to be back.
Thanks, Ismael

Many condolences, from My family to yours, it can be a tough time for everyone. found building something anything to help relieve the pain and anguish in my heart and soul. I think just building an engine, paint detail and other detail is the one that works for me...DFV or Chevy it just takes me to my calm place, yet keeps me in touch with the world...got a few engines sitting in my parts boxes now!! Ismael, My condolences on your loss. Sure sounds like you have your hands full. Hopefully things will start to settle back down. I know only to well how family issues of all kinds can just over whelm you.
As Chris said, a little bench time can be a great way to relax for even a little while.
