I found your forum today while researching F-1 model kits in order to create a spread sheet. I couldn't find anything like that on the ol' interweb, so I made one that tells Scale, Manufacturer, Type Car, kit #, Driver, races and year raced (if possible)!
Thanks in advance for the add to your group.
I'm mainly a car builders and have about 14 of the 1/12th scale F-1 kits to build. I have 9 completed and I just recently acquired the Protar Ferrari 312T and Ferrari 312T5 kits along with the Tamiya McLaren M23 Yardley and Texaco cars. These are in the pile but I have dedicated this summer to finishing all those projects that have one or two little details left before they are called "Finito!"
I have a very nice work space and while I own two airbrushes, I seem to prefer Tamiya rattle cans, probably because there is less clean up. I get my heated water by using a retired coffee maker that was going to the dump... it still heats water nicely for warming up those cans!
I'm thinking about dumping all my NASCAR 1/25 and 1/25th kits because I will never have time to build the 65 or so kits in the "pile" (I hate the word stash).
I live in Tehachapi CA and I am a Paramedic for the last 31 years. My wife is a Paramedic as well.
So that's it... me in a nutshell!
Looking forward to some nice builds!

I find working in 1/12 scale a bit easier than you'd think because the little fiddly bits can't get lost so easily! I need to finish up a few other projects before I start one of those massive projects!

Welcome to the forum Interesting point about "pile" vs "stash". I returned to the states in 1970, and began buying quickly, and building slowly. My pile soon became a closet-full. In a short time it became a "stash", and is now a small warehouse! Glad to have you with us, and look forward to seeing your work, and that spread sheet.
