I built this 73 Vega Modified way back when it was originally issued 1978 by MPC ? I think it was re-issued by various companies since. It was put away and while cleaning out some model stuff I came across it, The glue seems to have let loose as not much is still together and even though boxed up the Northridge 6.9 Earthquake didn't help either. So it is all complete and has room for tons of add ons and detail so I'm considering a side project/restoration on it. More to come if I do that.. Chris

Chris. Yes please rebuild it. Think of it as a found race car in need of restoration. In this case itโs a box find not a barn. lol

Yes please! I'd love to see this revived. I have this kit in my queue for an upcoming project using its close cousin Monza body (resin from Big Donkey). I won't get to it until this fall or winter so it would be invaluable to see you bring this up to modern standards of fine modeling in the meantime.

Well you could build it as a recent "field" or "barn" find, an old warrior put out to pasture weathered accordingly. Just an idea. That's the image that "worn" body provoked from me.
