I'm not the biggest oval fan by far, and miss more Nascar races then I catch or record. But yesterdays Nascar at the Glen was an epic battle on the short course. Elliot just plain out drove Truex Jr. who really was turning up the heat. Gotta be one of the best road course races I've seen the Good Old Boys put on.
And Saturday's XFinity's race was a thriller as well. I was really surprised to read that NASCAR officials had disqualified the 2nd place Kaulig Racing No. 10 Chevrolet of AJ Allmendinger for a technical violation after Saturday’s Xfinity Series race at Watkins Glen International. AJ drove just a super race. Even more surprising is that AJ was also disqualified from his 3rd place Daytona finish all the way back down to dead last for the same team.
Next weekend the big boys are at Michigan, but the XFinity division will be running at Mid Ohio!!
Still got the IMSA race to watch, as I don't get that many of their races on NBCSN network, I try not to miss those that they do broadcast.

Back in the mid 90s, I got to (had to?) go to a lot of NASCAR races as part of my job. Watkins Glen was a hoot to watch. Ovals just do nothing for me, although I haven’t missed an Indy 500 in years.
Joel, if you have a “smart” TV or look online, NBCSN carries the IMSA races live. Except for the last race. I guess they didn’t want it competing with the NASCAR race that was going on at the same time. Fox Sports’ coverage of the IMSA races was so much better.

The race was available live on the NBCSN app, which can be loaded onto a smart TV.

Thanks guys for the heads up, but I was referring to the IMSA races whichever class or classes that would be running per race. I get all the Nascar races on NBCSN just fine on my Smart TV/cable package. Like I said, it's the IMSA races that are hit and miss.

Any IMSA race not shown live on an NBC or NBCSN can be seen live on the app. Mike

Mike, Thanks for the correction. Are you referring to the NBCSN app or the IMSAtv app? Joel

Mike, Thanks for the correction. Are you referring to the NBCSN app or the IMSAtv app? Joel NBCSN app. I think you need a cable/satellite provder to use it (I have a vague recollection of having to log in once). But, if you have NBCSN, you have a provider. Don't know how the IMSAtv app works. Mike

Mike I’ve got it, but when I opened it to watch the race, the only selection available was live coverage of the NASCAR race. I recorded the rebroadcast that night and just finished watching it, so no worries. Some good racing in that one! Ben
