GMC truck w/plow that's seen a few winters

My first real attempt at extreme weathering. Used all kinds of techniques on this one. Salt, hairspray, rust texture paint, scratch building, cutting, scraping, grinding...you name it, it's probably in there somewhere. The duct tape is masking tape painted silver, the snow is plain old household flour.

Where I come from, trucks like this are not a rare sight. I'm about a mile from the Atlantic ocean, so between the salt air and the salt crap they use on the roads here, many vehicles are rotten before their time.

Very nice. I used to own that exact truck, only mine was full size. It didn't run either.

To me, it's harder to make realistic weathering for an automobile/truck/tractor than a high gloss finish. Great job!

I'd watch those plow frame mounts, they are probably ready to snap. I would hate to run over the blade....

Sam...rust is a part of life here. I work in a repair shop and people tend to get upset when you tell them it's a half hour labor to change a license plate bulb. They don't understand that dealing with rusty, broken bolts that you have to drill out and fight with is not a 2 minute job like they see on Youtube.
