I just passed through YouTube and there's a video posted a few days ago of the new McLaren Indy car testing at Sebring. That new halo and windscreen looks strange, but whatever improves driver safety is a good thing.

Not a fan of the styling of the Dallara chassis, I think the windscreen is an improvement.

The windscreen is as good looking as the F-1 Halo or what ever they call it... I really dig the Camo test paint job ..they should race with it! I am confused, What engine did they end up with? I know there was conflict with Honda because McLaren F-1 dropped them. Which also may be the end result for Alonzo not driving for McLaren but with Andretti because he is driving for Toyota in the LeMans prototype races and Paris to Dakar.. oooooh dear remember when and driver got in any kind or manufacturer of car and drove to WIN! I really hate the whole undertray/floor look. F1 has proven it depends more on the effing floor than any other part of the chassis or set-up. I am reserving judgement on the rest of it.

I thought that the engine issue has been already resolved, with McLaren SP Motorsports going with Chevrolet engines. Of course I haven't seen anyone actually say that a contract was signed by all parties either.
Sebring should really put any car to a real test with that super rough track surface.
