Joel, for Kit builds, click anything highlighted in yellow, that will take you to an actual build of the kit being listed. Some are in Japanese but use you translate button.. Chris

I’ve posted this article a few times, it says this regarding the Dick Barbour/Paul Newman Hawaiian Tropics 1979 Le Mans car (chassis #009 00030) when it was sold at the end of the 1979 season: “At the end of the season, the car was sold by Dick Barbour to Bob Garretson. That meant the car stayed ‘in house’ at Dick Barbour Racing, it just had a new owner. Dick had ordered a new Kremer car for the 1980 season. The 009 00030 car ran in the 24 hours of Daytona driven by Bob, Anny Verney and Skeeter McKitterick but at this point it was still running as a 935-79 with the stock factory setup.” I hope this will clear up the confusion. www.porscheroadandrace.com/the-old-warhorse/I hope Beemax does offer a Porsche 935/79. It would be a nice companion to the already released Kremer K2 and the pending Kremer K3 kits.

JC, Thanks for the link to the saga of Dick Barbour car. I'm convinced, and quite certain now that the Beemax is really a 935/79 as the pre-box picture shows. Like you I'm hoping that they will release a real 935 K3 down the road, or a conversion will show up from the hands and mind of Calvin.

Awesome, that's nice that you put all these pictures together, it saves time for me. I'm going to be making a JLP-3 conversion for the new K3 kit. I'll be doing a 1982 Daytona 24 winner and a version of the Miller high life version too. I'm very excited about it.
