Calvin, I get most of my models from Spot out of Spain, and they still list it as "soon". I'm hoping by Mid jan. I'll buy the K-3 and another K-2. Need to send you an order for the 79 right after Xmas as the PO delivery should be back to normal. Right now it's a real crap shoot getting your shipment.

Hey Calvin....I have been waiting for the K3 for quite some time. But...Having a few of the BeeMax 935 K2 kits here in the shop to do the Newman car ( which you've enlightened me on the correct body) and a car of a fictitious manner...I decided to get your 935-79 trans kit. Looking forward to getting this for sure. I looked at you instruction blog and it is quite informative for sure. I'll be looking at that when I build this bad boy. Thanks for adding that Build info....

Thanks for adding that Build info.... Gary Thank you for your order, Gary! I'll have it sent off Monday, you should be getting a shipping confirmation email. Im very happy to make it possible to build the 1979 Hawaiian Tropic 935-79. When I got a Beemax K2 kit I knew I could make it possible to convert it into a customer 935-79 out of it. A lot of people get the 935-79 and the 935 K3 confused which are totally different, different headlights, different bumper, hoods, rear engine cover with the wing. But speaking of K3... Since the new release of the 1/24 NuNu Porsche 935 K3 kit. I plan on offering a resin conversion kit for building an accurate Apple Computer, Coke, and Sachs cars which have different rear fenders. I also plan to offer a conversion kit to build the JLP-3 cars (John Paul IMSA cars - Daytona 24 winner & Miller High Life versions) Indycals will be offering these decals and will be sized appropriately. If you plan to build the cars I mentioned, might as well get a kit on ebay with the link below. This is an affiliate link. Using my affiliate link to buy the 1/24 NuNu Porsche 935 K3 off ebay will give me a fee from ebay. This doesn't cost you any more but I will make a little bit from ebay for referring you to their website, you don't have to use my affiliate links but doing so is greatly appreciated and helps my business and website to bring you more resin kits and value. rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&toolid=11800&pub=5575463951&campid=5338447782&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm570.l1313%26_nkw%3Dnunu%2Bporsche%2B935%2Bk3%26_sacat%3D0

Guys, I'm still confused as to what exactly the Hawaiian car #70 is that Neuman Co drove at the 1979 LeMans. The best I can determine is that it was a Porsche Factory 935 79. The car was then modified to meet the IMSA K3 regulations for the Watkins Glen race so that it was a 935 K3. I believe that the 935 79 could have the long tail or short tail. The NuNu kit is indeed the same kit that Beemax is releasing as they have the same parent company. I've also seen advanced orders for both versions as two different Beemax kits on the Spot model site. One is for the Hawaiian #70 and the other is for the Apple version. Joel

That is exactly what my conversion kit I made is for 935-79 The 1979 Hawaiian tropic car had absolutely nothing to do with the K3. (Kremer #3 bodywork) the 1979 Hawaiian tropic car was a stock/customer 935 For my conversion, I'm taking a K2 and turning it into a stock 935 and eliminating the K2 look. Nunu just came out with a K3 just a few weeks ago. It has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the 1979 Hawaiian tropic car. Spot model for some reason put K3 in their title when there is a clear picture of a stock 935-79 Hawaiian tropic car The Apple computer car is a K3

Calvin, Now it's all starting to make sense. So the Apple sponsored car was a 935 K3?
Porsche's racing cars by type and then version are about the most confusing by far. The 908 and 917 series had even more versions the 935 family.
