I have the BT44, the 312T, and two McLaren M23s (one Yardley and one Texaco) in my 1/12th pile. All have the high airboxes from 1975-1976. Might be another theme build after all these Ferraris are done! Wouldn't this have been Lauda vs. Hunt?

James Hunt drove the Hesketh in 75, switched to Mclaren in 76 so would that photo have been Lauda vs. Fittipaldi?

James Hunt drove the Hesketh in 75, switched to Mclaren in 76 so would that photo have been Lauda vs. Fittipaldi? It's a Ferrari 312T with #12 on it, it's a McLaren with a high airbox and #1 on it, that makes it 1975.
So, yes, it's Lauda and Fittipaldi.

Ya'll are so good. I had some aircraft guy over in the Mediocre world throwing shade on me because I didn't recognize a Faiery Swordfish and an Tornado... I dared him to come over and talk F1! LOL!
