Thanks Rob and Ismael. 2whl, Glad to finally have an update of our all time favorite F1 car. And what a fantastic idea to make a belt. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best ideas. The engine in your hand's looks absolutely just beyond words. Please, make the next update sooner then we waited for this one. Joel I'll try, Joel, but no promises. Since I only just brought this here, the other guys don't know when the last post was on Open Wheel. Aug 20, 2018. So about a year and a half. Most of the reason I don't get much bench time is because this is not hobby number 1. That is cycling. 223 Mine to - I ride a Pinarello Dogma F8 - I love it, can't wait to start riding again this year

2whl, Sure wish I lived in a warm climate all year long, but my wife just won't move as long as her 97 year old mother is still alive. And she's in better health then we are.
Absolutely impressive work on the fuel metering system and lines.

Thanks Joel. I'm glad someone enjoys how I assemble this kit. Except for a couple small P/E parts, the engine is done. Since the engine is almost complete, the next thing to do was to get the engine bay ready for it. I did some wire brush work on it, followed by 000 and 0000 steel wool. 374

Great work on the engine!
Being an MFH kit, around how much did you pay? Asking for a friend...

Paul,
The engine looks terrific! It could easily be mistaken for a real one. Nice bike too. I actually ride 10 miles a day, 5 days a week on my crappy Walmart bike.

the big V12 never looked that good in real life the few times I saw it. Usually had oil and various fluids leaking everywhere. I'd say that the kit with your skills is worth every penny of the $600 you paid for it. And the engine compartment really looks much better after your polishing efforts.

Thanks for the compliments Peter, Rob and Joel. My PKAD kicked in and I came back to the Eagle. I put the engine into the engine compartment and added the trans. 479

How did you get the "Gurney Westlake" lettering so precise?
