Art,
Thanks for tipping me off to this thread. The model is spectacular, but I'm just as impressed by the original research you did! This thread could serve as a primer for how to properly research a model subject.

Hello,
I'm late to the party, but I'm glad I have spent several hours going thru this thread from top to bottom. I really enjoy the research part. That is my favorite part of building a model: vintage or new, super-detailed or just a quick curbside. Really enjoyed this build and has been inspired to be better now that I'm coming back to the hobby after a few years break. Congratulations on a job well done!
Thanks, Ismael

Hi Ismael,
Thanks for looking! If I'm not mistaken, I believe you had a forum on scale model corvettes at one time. If I'm right, know that that forum was also a part of my research while trying to find the best parts and models to start with, etc., so I am glad I could inspire you as well. Welcome back to the hobby!

Hi Art,
Yes, I ran ScaleCorvettes.com for many years. I had to shut it down due to lack of time. I have thought several times about getting it back online, but time is very limited.
Thanks, Ismael

That is a beautiful build there sir- my hat's off to ya! Clean, sharp, and very nicely detailed. Not even a hint of an issue.....anywhere! Congrats on a real winner~**~
