I looks like a real car.
(Now that I know what not to do, maybe I should build mine. I probably should finish the Lotus first, I might end up with a Cosworth-Ferrari!)
Great job my friend.

Patrick, No question about it. You nailed it for sure. The paint and decals that your fretted over just look darn near perfect to me. I'd say that you exceeded your posted expectations in every way. So what's next to make it to your bench?

Patrick!
I know you like to refer to yourself as a 'Mediocre' modeler ... but I'm not sure why because I have seen you pump out two pretty damn nice Ferrari's in the time that I've been on here. This 312T however is quite impressive - you nailed this one my friend - the engine work (colour variation and precision painting) is excellent, and the final body finish is damn nice I must say. Well done my friend!

Paul Cadwell has been more than invaluable in helping me get this done! And all your words here and on the Kitmaker site really are encouraging! Thank you again!

Well done my friend! Chris Smith was the TOTAL inspiration for the engine. I printed a photo of his work and then used it as a template. He really is the pioneer here. And thank you for your words on the finish. It is about 98% if you ask me but that's because I know where the flaws are located! I really was afraid of screwing it up (again)... and I can tell you it was worth the elbow grease! Adrian, your critique means a lot as do all the words of the members here. Thank you again.

Turns out I am not done! When replacing the decal on the airbox right side, the entire paint job was affected.
So it will be a very careful masking job and a repaint... will show you all later...

And I thought it was just a mirror that decided to take a vacation. You have some good perseverance. I would be loosing my shit! Good for you Patrick

Just keep going and you will win. This project reminds me of my C7R that fought me all the way to the finish, coming very close to be smashed into the wall more than once. But at the end, I can now look at it and go "nahh na na naaahhh naahhhhh I beat you!"
