Guys, it sure does. And according to my wife, it doesn't take much to confuse me these days.

Now I just need to paint them. Distributor on and wired. You'll notice I abandoned the ferrules for the stock velocity stacks. The ones on the right side were gong to interfere with the bodywork. The clear fuel line that came with my kit has hardened up to the point that it would not co-operate with me. So I got out some of my alternate stuff to make the fuel lines. 454

Looking good for sure. Word of caution, those nipples on the fuel injection do like to break, you, may want to use some piano wire or guitar string to firm these up. Don’t want to see a thread saying Ferrari 312T-4th try.

Great job negotiating through the exhausting jungle!
Boy, do I know that fuel line issue well! And the nipples breaking!
Looking great and you’re catching us on the straightaways! I ran off into the woods for a bit but am back in track. Had to make a long stop for some repairs but I think we’ll get out to finish!
“Keep pushing, Paul. Keep pushing”. (In my best radio man voice...)

Where do you get your tubing and what size are you using? I am in the process of re-building one of these and some things just need replacing! Original build was in 1976! Steve

Steve The fuel lines are fly-fishing tubing. race-car-models.proboards.com/thread/2037/glue-bond-teflon?page=1&scrollTo=18404Not sure where I would get the larger sizes. I still have enough that hasn't gotten hard to search. But I would try Michael's and maybe an auto parts store. Small wires can be found in electronics stores.

Paul, You are almost at the point where you can try something for me, if you would... Can you place the main body piece (the one that forms the cockpit fairing) in place and take a photo of where the tail hits that black crosspiece in front of the rear brake ducts? Mine will not fit and leaves an huge gap as I showed over on my build. I am curious if it is a standard issue issue or if I did something else incorrectly? If you don't understand what I mean, let me show you... Unless I am missing something, there is a problem. Chris Smith and I discussed it and he said it is a well known issue. In the photos of the actual car, that entire black piece in the first photo is covered by the body panel. But I just don't see how as it leaves the huge gaps shown in the bottom photo. Any ideas? Anyone else?

This is the part that seems to be obstructing things...
