Evening Fellows, Guess I did something wrong awhile ago in an earlier thread. Anyhow, I've made Three engines for my Corvette Grand Sport series of lesser known variants. First is the Grady Davis Gulf Oil 360 inch iron engine with dual "Hobby Horse" fuel injectors which ran the 1st year with the stock fender wells. The dual injector intake was a popular (and cheap) alternatives to Webers carbs. The second engine I made was a 377 SOHC Chevy "Experimental" engine seen on the cover of Dec 1967 Hot Rod magazine with Zora Duntov. I started with a 427 block and scratched some Chrysler dual plug Hemi valve covers and fuel injector manifolds and some sprint car "Crooked" exhaust manifolds to make the intake tubes. This engine was supposed to be the "Production" engine in the 100-125 car production run until the New York Herald newspaper showed the Mecom massacre of Ford in Nassau and GM ceased it'd back door racing involvement. The third engine is the Accurate Miniatures 377 alloy engine with 58 mm Webers built basically stock except for a larger oil pan, breather caps and wiring. I DID do something that BUGGED me since the Accurate GS came out..The Weber carb flanges are BACKWARDS! They should splay out! Pondering how to correct this, yesterday I bought a fine toothed saw and cut the float bowls off the TOP of the carbs and glued them to the BOTTOM of the carbs and turned them over and glued to the intake manifold (see attached photo) left to right. Relatively simple and MUCH more accurate. The 360 Dual Injector and 377 SOHC will post next week. Thanx for viewing, John

Zora Duntov meets the Spider from Mars! Afternoon Guys, Thrashing here, getting ready to look at a live-on boat for sale in a couple of hours. In the meantime, I have almost completed the 377 SOHC 16 spark plug downdraft injected engine that was supposed to be the original GS engine. The "Spider" is a Dual Bevel Drive distributor that I genned up to power 16 spark plugs as no clear image exists. Also have almost completed the 427 SOHC 8 plug with sidedraft laydown injectors experimental engine as shown by the 1969 Hot Rod magazine shown. The two experimental were the hardest to do especially the valve covers, none exist. I have a completed GS chassis I'll rotate the engines and post. Bodies will come later. Thanx for viewing, John

We Fear NO Cobras! Finally a Completed Project! Lots of research and fabrication work but I have finished MY project of GS early engines The big blocks will have to wait until I get a roadster body if ever. I am starting a new phase of life and at 69 decided it's time to live my dream, trying to get a live-aboard cabin cruiser. So that means I have to make room, and get money, so my collection is being put up for sale on eBay. I hate to do it but looking at what I have, I will never get around to assembling all of them. Some I will keep and complete but the others need to go to a good home. There will be some rare kits, slot cars and parts. Thanx for viewing
