Mike, Your attention to detail is just amazing. While I no nothing about drag cars, your explanations of what the real car has and how you duplicated it is self explanatory. the motor mounts fit like a glove. How you fitted the internal tubing for the exhausts looks rock solid and in perfect alignment. As for the blower, all those added little details as you said, just keep on adding up.

UPDATE. Motor is the agenda, lots of small parts added to the already nice 3D printed 392 kit from
LPH 1320 MODEL PRODUCTS, can be viewed only on FB.
Fuel injection and fuel block shown here. First off a couple of close up photos of the parts from the real car, courtesy Scott Snizek;
Here the nozzles, without adjusting nuts or lines yet;
I thought extra pipes for the injector bodies might look nice peeking through the hat;
On to the fuel nozzle block now, here the real unit;
Here a couple photos of the detailed front cover along with some scratch built pulleys in aluminum and brass;
Things are now up to date. Fuel pump pis already on the works, valve covers haven't arrived yet. More later.

Mike, I'm speechless at the amount of detail you've added to your engine, and each detail looks perfect. No short cuts here. As Paul said, I also was wondering where you've been of late. But it's time extremely well spent off the site for sure.

Hello guys, this project is quite a ways further on now. Up front the fuel pump, grill shell and fuel tank completed.
The real car;
The radiator grill shell;
The car has had several fuel tank over the years, including a very large one for cackling events. I chose a somewhat smaller version, yet still maintaining the overall look;
Next up will be the body fabrication.

So, fellow modelers, I'd like to finish this project now. The car is completed, except for decals, I have no idea when they'll be done, been over a month now.
Skipping most of the buildup stages, here the (for now) finished car.
The model is an exact scale replica, wheelbase is 104". The model has a nice heft to it, 14 ounces!
Should the decals arrive, I do believe to update this topic.
Thanks to the members who viewed and commented. I do believe this to be my finest model to date.

I'm almost speechless. The replica looks so close to the real car in the photos, that you could fool just about anyone that's there's really two cars not just one.

Hello guys, just wanting to show this car as being finished. Decals arrived last year, which were placed with lots of effort. The script is too bold and somewhat oversized, this being my own fault though. The gold shade is too dark, still, the decals have good quality. After the death of my wife in Jan. 22, I haven't been able to come back to the bench. I've just lost the drive, period.
The shock of my life, totally unexpected, within 15 minutes, while frying up some eggs for breakfast, I was suddenly alone in my life. No kids. I packed everything worth keeping, found a wonderful apartment in the back hills of central Germany. Sold my our apartment, and moved to a new life, 25 miles away. Next town is 5 miles away. I love it here! Folks are so friendly and to my surprise, lots are interested in speaking with an American. Neighbors help each other out, folks are friendly. Found some new friends, all are Fire Dept., for the surrounding small towns. We meet weekly, Fridays, for lots of beer and wood fired grilling. Yes! I've found a new life. Just, can't yet get back to modeling.
Here the finished replica build;
