Thanks guys. You might ask why did I bother, but I had them and decided to build them, more or less all at once. I had thought I was getting a J Car kit to go with them but the deal fell through. So there will be just the 3 for now. Mark, you're right, back then they were the best we could get. Now we have MFH!

So, finished except for a few detail decals, which I know I have but can't find.
Other than the fit between the rear deck and the roof, better than I thought.
The decals were Indycals, worked perfectly. Just water, no solvents needed. TS 13 clearcoat. Minor issue, they are 1/24th decals on a 1/25th car, but you'll never notice.
Those clever folks who know will note the fuel cap is on the wrong side for a LeMans car. I thought about it, but not worth the trouble.
cheers

Using Imgur as a pic host can be a pain in the ass at times.
Anyway, the big question, does it open up? Yes, front and back. Except the front pivot points really need to be further forward, so the front only opens this far:
Turns out I should have extended the frame a bit. If you set it on stands, you get this:
Yes, I did glue the knock off back on the front wheel afterwards.
So the MK 2 is done, and so far the MK 4 looks not great, but do-able I hope, so I plod on.
Thanks for tuning in
Paul.
