The T260 has been a slow project. Chassis is done pretty much. 2 side tanks from kit with sheet floor and bulkheads added. Engine block supported at floor level. Rad ducting added with sheet Also a lot of material ground away

I've built the UMI 917-30, it was pretty rough but it built up okay. I've wanted a T260 for a long time. Looking on at this WIP with great interest.

Looks like my Dremel will get a work out when I build one of these!

I have one of those old UMI Lola T260 kits, too. I'll be following your work with interest.

Great stuff! I'd never seen any of the Formula Canada kits built before. (And how did I miss this thread earlier in the year. Or have I forgotten already.)

When you say "rough" for the Umi kits please remember these were some of the earliest resin kits available. They always build up into nice models and were of great subjects. I always wanted a Ferrari 712, but never had the cash when they were new. Now I can't touch them IF I can find one.

These are all very nice.
Only one car is needed to round out this collection of all the CanAm Champs. The 1971 McLaren M8F of Peter Revson would complete it.
That would be a lot more work to modify from an Accurate Miniatures M8B, but still easier than scratch building it or trying to modify an Academy M8A. I know of no resin caster offering a model of it in 1/24.

Oh I'd love to have the Revson car. I was and still am a huge Revson fan. I've also wished for an M20 for years.
