I have started assembling the tubular frame. After a few evenings drilling and dry fitting, I put the parts in the magnetic tumbler for some cleaning and polishing. I plan on putting most of it together before I put some alclad aluminum on it.

I decided to do a little weathering to give the engine some depth, I am happy how it came out. I also decided to use RB motions spark plugs and boots over the kit ones.. more to come! Can you give me a little idea of your wash? It looks perfectly grimy!

Spent my afternoon/early evening working on the cylinder heads So what color did you use for the heads? The same Ferrari red color as the body? Also, did you run the spark plug wires all the way down the conduit and then out each hole or did the wires enter the end as a bundle and then you added a wire from the hole to the spark plug? Do you understand what I am asking? Also, were the rubber boots for the RB motion spark plugs included? Someone mentioned this was a V6 but it looks to me like it has 12 plugs, 6 per side. Doesn't that make it a V12? Maybe I'm not understanding. Anyway, the whole thing looks spectacular! Hope I can do as well! (I know, I know... so many questions, so little time!)

The cam covers are Tamiya red, the spark plugs wires do not go all the way through. I had to drill five holes on the top side and one on the small end then drill six holes on the larger side. They are a bit fiddley The spark plug boots donβt come with the plugs. They are a separate. Yes itβs a V6 with 2 plugs per cylinder.
