As a result, I will be putting all of my other 1/12th kits, unbuilt or partially built, on the block. I will provide a list as soon as I can in the For Sale section of this board along with a photo of each.
Or if you have any desires, I might have what you want in the pile. All 1/12th scale kits mostly by Tamiya.
What, oh what, have I done?
Chris Smith, this is all your fault!

Thank you all. Now what tools do I need? And Chris or 2Whl what is the best adhesive that won't make a mess of the white metal? I will have a million questions I am sure!

Now THAT.....is funny!!! I really can't wait to see what you're gonna do with this kit.

You probably have almost everything you need.. I do recommend a magnetic tumbler and polishing solution. A good set of drill bits from.04mm-2.0mm Lots of pre planning and remember to dry fit everything a few times before you paint.
I am using a medium gell CA, I also use 5 min epoxy and sometimes JB weld. I will be learning how to use low temp solder this weekend from a great friend of mine.

Here is my tray of tools that I commonly use. On the bottom left is a range of drills from .4 mm to 2.0 mm. To the right, some pliers. Then an assortment of files. Upper side from left to right is an assortment of diamond files for photo-etch, wire brush, calipers, sandpaper and tweezers.
In this picture, a brass brush, photo etch bender and J-B Weld. I use C-A glue (in thick and thin) for most parts. The J-B Weld is for places where more strength is needed.
Ask all the questions you need to, Chris and I will do all we can to initiate you to MFH kits.
Thank you, Darth Paul and Darth Chris. We of the MFH Sith must band together and use the power of the force (but not so much as to bend the white metal) to mold the MFH kits to our will.
And yes, Darth Paul, that is the very kit. I can feel a disruption in the supply chain force that may delay the delivery of the kit.
From whom did you obtain yours? And what was the cost? Mine was $795.50 and now I am preparing to void myself of all the other 1/12th kits so that I may not have a reason to worry about time or money when it comes to doing this one. From now on, I am doing one kit at a time and not purchasing anything more than that one kit. My workspace is too cluttered as it is!

I got mine when they were first released in 2018. I paid $770 with shipping. I think I got it through Upscale Hobbies.

Patrick, So you took the final step to the darkside, and saying goodbye to the wacky world of plastic 1/12 scale modeling, and I just got my 1st kit for this year: Tamiya Brabham BT44b.
I guess you're shelving your GT40 build. Must have been a tough decision after all the AM you've been buying to walk away from it.
I'll be following your MFH builds for sure.

At contraire, Mon frere!
Not shelved at all. This kit won’t be started until the GT40 is finished.
I’m not even sure when I will receive this kit. I may need to put it in my will!

Okay so maybe someone here can answer this question because I can't find a definitive photo... at the Italian Grand Prix in 1961 where Wolfgang von Trips lost his life in the #4 Ferrari 156 Dino...
Was there mesh screens over the engine intakes or a clear bubble?
I can't seem to find a clear shot.

I cannot tell if the intake covers on the #4 are mesh or painted red. It makes little sense as to why they would be covered up thus decreasing airflow to the intake funnels.
Wish it was more observable. But thanks for posting and trying!
