Chris, I just finishing reading through your build to date, and I'm way more then just impressed. You've taken a kit molded in the late 60's, and have brought it up to way more then just today's standards with some of the finest detailing and corrections I've ever seen in any type of scale plastic modeling.
Jo Siffert has been a personal favorite of mine since the late 60's, especially after watching him drive the little John Wyler Porsche 908/3 around Sebring at literally a Alien's pace. I've been planning on building the Ebbro Lotus 49B with IndyCal decals,at my level of building which is more towards OOB but to the best build level I can achieve. Your build skill level is the bar I'll be trying to at best match.
Looking forward to your next update.
Joel

I just bought another of these kits. I've had one in my inventory for years. Plan for that one was to build a 1967 Jim Clark Lotus 49 (non 'B') in British Racing Green. Now that I will have 2, one will still be a 49, the other will be a 49B. I'll use your thread here for reference, Chris.

I too have both the Ebbro 49 and the Ebbro 49B in my stash, and am looking forward to building both sooner then later. Joel

Chris, I know that my response is years late about the radiator exhausts on the top of the nose cone. The Walker car appears to have come with the original 49 cone that didn't have them. The official team car did have them. In both of your pictures on page 1 neither one has those radiator outlets.
