Thinned semi-gloss black 3-parts thinner to 1-part paint and flowed it into the recess of the Fuchs wheels. Not a traditional look for a 944 or even Fuchs but I like it.

That wash sure made those wheels look Good JC. Is that enamel, Lacquer..or other...type of paint and thinner that you used for the wash?

Thanks Gary. The wheel is Tamiya TS-30 Silver Leaf applied from the can. The wash is Tamiya X-18 Semi-Gloss Black from the bottle (3-parts thinner to 1-part paint) flowed into the webs of the spokes.

One of the drivers of that 924, Elliott Forbes-Robinson, later drove a race car that I worked on, The Nash Racing Buick Trans Am car of 1986.
