Thanks Joe. Wheels and tires are from a Porsche 917 built-up I have in the stash. I had to repair the beads on the rims where the builder cut them from the sprue. I won't be using the front wheels as the car I'm replicating had the radial cooling fans installed. The radial fan inserts are from the Nitto/AMT 935 kit. I'm using the 917 kit wheel backs and parts box rims to complete the front wheel assembly.

JC, Those are really massive rear tires. No problem getting the power down to the ground with those puppies on.

Tire compounds weren't as advanced as they would become, only way to increase grip was make the contact patch bigger. First it was wider tires then it became taller rear tires like you see on the Porsche 935. Fit headlight buckets and fabricated an oil cooler.

This whole car is a superb fabricating job. I'm learning a lot.
Thanks.

JC, I can't believe that those are scratched headers. Now that's super impressive for sure.

One of these days I'm gonna try my own hand at scratchbuilding headers. I've had such a need for it lately with some of the custom building that I've been doing. Lookin' good JC!

Thanks Joel. Joe you can do it. It takes some practice and patience and some extra material for when you screw up.
