Very nice Bill. I have a few of these kits in the stash, need to get around to building at least one of them!

I have the Friedman book as well - great reference source and very informative.

Bill Impressive to say the least. The engine bay with those Webbers is really quite well done. The body work and paint finish is just perfect.
I've built a few Accurate Miniature 1/48 scale aircraft kits, and they're not for the faint of heart, but once completed are the equal to the best kits out there. I also have their McLaren M8B that I want to build sooner then later, but I'm not so sure I have the skills yet to tackle such an advanced kit.

Bill, just a really impressive build on a very difficult kit. Joel

Beautiful! I’ve always heard the horror stories about this kit, but the next time I see one at a good price I think I’ll pick it up....

I've got the Accurate Miniature's McLaren M8B, and I've been not so much hesitant, as just plain scared silly about being up to the challenge of that kit. From all I've read and seen, it takes a greater skill level then I currently have to get it across the finish line as a winner.

I first saw the AM, GS at the Meeting of the Modelers held on top the Petersen Museum in the Glass Room, as a prototype, it was presented by Dale king and Jim West, and they were taking suggestion on behalf of AM as to improvements or just general comments..Really could there be any improvement or added detail? I have a long term project that I work on occasionally , a 37 Chevy Pick Up , originally a tractor pull kit but still a normal body that will make a interesting street rod. So my engine of choice is the GS 377cid with the cross ram Weber carbs, I think I have been working on the engine for months, you know me, cant leave it stock, gotta add detail bolts, lines and such.. it will all sit on a Mini Exotics metal 32 Ford frame with Mini Exotics metal and a bunch of scratchbuilt suspension.. pics some time... Thats my Story and I'n sticking to it!! Chris
