Here's a small but important update. ALL the side and top body panels have been made and are in mock up. The top panel still needs the curved portion on the tire side made. This is really starting to look like an Indycar. Looks kinda funny(naked if you will) with out the rear wing. Here's a few pics... Thanks for looking and commenting folks.... side panels ... Top and Side panels....

Looking awesome, Gary! My only nit to pick would be the front, top corner of the front wing endplate, in the first pic of the real car, they are much more rounded. Other than that, looks really great!

Here's an update.... Both side panels are finished. The fuel buckeye slot on the left panel was fabbed. Both radiator slots were also cut in. The radiators( from the pc6 kit) were also reconfigured and added. The front part of the body panel was pinned so it wold go back in place exactly the same place every time. The top part of the engine cowl was also Fabbed and the whole for the POP OFF valve was cut in( it's off a hair and needs to be fixed...soon..) plus the base for the pop off valve was made for the intake plenium. The head rest and rollbar panel were fabbed and need to be touched up a little.. It's coming together a little at time. Primer is on the horizon!! Thanks for stopping in and commenting folks... New engine cowl and fuel buckeye slot... Radiators and Intake plenum..headrest ...rollbar ... with the side panels on...

Thank you Rob and JC for the compliments.... I've still got a lot of small things to do that eat up the time..( as we all know). I had to open up the engine cover a little more as the pop off valve(still needs to be made) wouldn't fit in there as it was. That's finished. Letting it all cure over night.

The valve covers are nicely detailed. Did you turn the POP off valve on a lathe Gary or is it stacked pieces?
