Nice work on the "plumbing"! That thing will look real once you get some color on it.

Thanks Brian. I'm almost ready for primer on the body. I still have to work out which way I want to mount those headers. I still have to get all the rear suspension worked out too.

I am really anxious to see whats next here! Hey Bill...Thank you for stopping in and commenting. Man..oh..man..I can completely understand about not really knowing about Tim's Driving career. I only knew about his Nascar career back in the early 80's. Then...I went down to a S.A.B.A. Model show that was held at the WORLD OF SPEED MUSEUM in Wilsonville Oregon about 3 yrs ago. A very good Museum...they have anything that's related to racing. That's where I first learned about Tim's racing career. Right in front of me was a Very cool Calif. Orange Super Modified. I walked over to it and it was Tim Richmond's 70s super...with out the wing. Man...I fell in love with it. I took a whole slue of pics and want to build it a little later down the road. That build be 90% fab work...and a very good challenge. Here are a few pics of Him and that car...

Thanks Rob and JC. It will be down the road a little on that one. I've got a Family Replica ( Teresa Field's #66 72 Chevelle Late Model Stockcar) build to do and a fictitious APPLE Cari that's coming up next. Both builds will be full detail builds and those take me awhile to do. I'll post the build progress when I start...

This update is on the coil over shocks on the rear suspension. I almost went with the molded on coils and shocks... but after removing the mold seams and pin marks I decided that they were going to be a pain in the paint brush to paint the springs and the shocks. Sooo..I decided to make the coil overs out of tube and rod from evergreen. The coil is .030 soft leader wire that I picked up at Cabella's. I made them so that they will come apart for easier painting.... Kit shocks... Removed them here... Coil springs.... New shocks and springs together...

I think they will look a lot better also JC. It will definitely make it easier to paint and mount to the rear suspension..

Thank you Jim...I've got the all the fab work finished on the engine. It's ready to take apart and shot with primer. The chassis is also about ready to shoot primer on it. I'll try to get a few update pics taken and posted soon... Thanks for stopping in and commenting Jim...
