Your fab work is seamless! I know next to nothing about drag racing, but your craftsmanship makes this one to watch.

I just got a Flintstone resin Falcon with a teardrop hood. I want to make an A Sedan Regional racer, but the hood (i.e. Bonnet)needs to be a stock type. Wanna trade or know where I can get a stock hood?

The Wild Child kit also includes a tear drop hood Patrick so a trade wouldn't help you. Bandit Resins offer a '65 Falcon kit, maybe they would sell you a stock hood. www.banditresins.com/1965_falcon.html

Wouldnt the hood from the 65 Falcon Ranchero be the same? Because I noticed it is a flat stock type..now to find someone to trade hoods???

Yes the Trumpeter Ranchero is a '65.

Happy with the rear axle position. I'll be using another wheel/tire combo.

I recommend to anyone building one of these to NOT use a teardrop hood blister from a 64 Thunderbolt. Revell got it wrong. It wound up more of a diamond shape from overhead, instead of a teardrop. I haven't seen the Trumpeter one in person yet, just the box art, which looks good.

Back half of the floor plan complete, the angles are the bumper brackets. Undecided if I want to remove the tank.
