Oh I like this build!
afx, the Falcon you posted page one, the dark blue one, I saw that one run several times back in the day. Hubert Platt I believe. This was from the days down south, where the best of 5 match racing was hot and heavy at non-NHRA local drag strips. This car was often around, along with a fellow from S. Georgia with a nasty T-Bolt, which was white with blue tinted plexiglass. Falcon and all of the T-Bolts had a special look when they launched. The cars lifted high up front, and the front tires slanted outwards at a great angle....the top of the tire went inward, bottom went out. I only noticed this on the small Fords.
The Falcon was a beauty, I liked it a lot. This one was what I mentioned about being a nice candidate for a built small block for the street, a sharp looking car!
Excellent, and very clean work. This is fun observing.
