Ismael, Can't believe that this is the 1st time I've actually read through your entire build to date. Your dedication to accuracy of the GT2 Corvette C6R is simply amazing. The reworking of the "toy" shell really turned out extremely well. As for the new tail light panel conversion swap, one would be very hard pressed to see that you've done a swap job.
Looking forward to your next update. And this is coming from a Ford kind of guy.

I dont know why, but when you said you would be glad to get back to building a Corvette, I envisioned you kicking back with a nice easy build after the Fords....I really had that one wrong.๐
Unbelievable work on this. ๐

Hello, One side pretty much done. Now the challenge is to get the other side symmetrical mirror image before final tweaking and sanding smooth. By the way, this is what I'm after.... Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, The modifications to the tail light openings look absolutely like the picture does. And that's at 1:1 magnification which is a very tough thing to do.

Hello, Will you believe me if I say I'm happy? I'm an engineer. Can you tell? Will you excuse my 0.01mm discrepancy? Thanks, Ismael

Nope, it needs to be within .oo5 tolerance.

Ismael, I'd say that you're more then happy. As for the .01mm discrepancy, it still looks perfect to me. Joel

Hello, Just a little bit of progress on this one. Can you tell what was done? Still some tweaking needed but almost there. Here is a hint of what it was: Thanks, Ismael

Thanks Bill! Can you tell I "worked" from home today? I spent most of last year on business travel and it seems this one will not be different. I need to take advantage of these rare days where I can work from home. Usually once every 3 months or so. Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, Slow but steady progress is still progress. Work on the build when you can. I for one will be waiting for your updates, as one build after another is just exceptional.
