Hello, Joel, this may help explain where this is going. The semi-circular area that looks like a protractor is actually part of the RC toy steering adjustment. Is been sanded down and the recessed area will be filled. Thanks, Ismael

Ismael,
Thanks for the explanation. With the plastic sheet things are really coming together, and will really look good once a coat of primer is applied. Nice air jacks. Are you going to keep them in place and have the tires laying off to the side, or pop off the air jacks?

Tap, tap, is this thing on? Hello! After a little detour of 3 helicopters ( link)... where were we? Oh, yes, making a 1/25 roll cage play nice with a 1/24 body. After the roll cage was modified, it is now the dash's turn to get some attention. Some Apoxie sculpt a quick coat of paint to check progress and it is going better than expected. Once dry I'll continue to work on it. Thanks, Ismael

Hello, Remember when I said that because the interior on these cars is very hard to see it was not worth adding interior detail? And to just leave it box stock? Well, I lied Machined the drinking water cooler. Will replace the kit's molded cooler. Thanks, Ismael

I live in that rabbit hole! I know they won't be seen, but, since I already machined the drinking water jug, then, you know, why not machining the fire suppression tank as well? And of course, paint them both Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, What a difference the machined parts make. For guys like me that just work with Styrene and kits parts, it's a dream just to far.

Ismael, just one word to sum it up: OUTSANDING
Just a fast question. The ScaleFinishes enamel. just how long is the drying and curing process? Back in the good old days, we used mostly those little bottles of enamel hobby paints, and I could mask and decal the next day on my aircraft models. Of course now we're talking car body shells with a lot more paint to dry.

I keep forgetting to mention something about the C5 and C6 Lemans Corvette Teams, I met a guy, now a good friend, at the NNL West a few years back, named Rick Voegelin, he was on a lot of the Corvette Lemans teams as everything from Tire Warmer to Co-Captain most years, He is an avid west coast HO Slot car racer, sometime model builder, ex Car Craft magazine editor and writer. He is in the Drag Racing Hall of Fame for his years racing the Car Craft Magazine Camaro in Super Stock Drag Racing( I hope I got all that right) anyway he is a great guy and loves Corvette Race cars, he has been involved for many years in the "Assault at Lemans" and has quite a number of Trophies from that races and a lot of others. Point is, I can always ask Rick if there is a detail you want to know about, just drop me a note and I would be happy to ask! Chris forgot to add Rick's pic with the class winning car and trophy..
