This is a Chris Etzel kit that I buiilt about ten years ago. Still one of my favorites.
I added streering, engine wiring and working knock offs.

Imagine what a sight it must have been during this era seeing these bold colorfully cars racing past at what would have seemed like unbelievable speeds. Another very nice build.

GREAT looking build pbh!! That paint looks flawless along with the extra detail you put into this cool car. I'm with you 100% on that JC...I'll bet it was jaw dropping....

It was widely believed at that time, that speeds in excess of 100mph would tear the human body apart causing instant death... tell that to a modern Funny Car Driver going 336mph, 3.6 seconds in only 1000 feet!! DiPaulo was the 1st driver to Average 100 mph at Indy.

Yes, this car was the first to average 100mph in the Indy 500 and it was not achieved again until 1930. Still this Model is a Very Nice Build.... ...Chris
