Perhaps you've never heard of Juan Zanelli, but I have. Senor Zanelli was a Chileno who raced in Europe his whole life. He won the 1929 Bugatti Grand Prix and first place was a Bugatti T35!! He wore the Chilean flag on his car. He went on to be the main driver for a Spanish car called National Pescara winning the European Hill Climb Championships of 1931. I finally finished this old but excellent kit. I am so proud to know a Chileno raced and won many events during his racing career. During WW2 Sr Zanelli fought with the French Resistance and died from gunshot wounds received in a fight with the Gestapo. I just came across these proving I do finish models!! YEE HAW!

I've been tempted to buy one of these kits several times but never pulled the trigger. You did a great job on it Patrick.

Patrick, Just a great build of an Iconic kit that like JC I almost bought a good dozen times, but always ended up with some other kit instead.

Excellent build of an iconic kit. The kit was way ahead of its time with the engineering and engraving.
