Just beautiful work! Thanks for such a great build thread. I learn so much from reading on how other build and their techniques.

Mark, Thanks so much for checking out my build, and liking what you see, but it doesn't compare to your GT40 build by any stretch of the imagination. Joel

I finally had time to look through all of this. Wow! Absolutely beautiful car, thanks for showing me how it's supposed to be done. I'd be keeping that baby in a safe place. I think it's cool that you did a Peter Gregg car, I always thought he was a damn fine driver.

It's my way that I'll always be reminded of him every time I look at my 935 K2. As for keeping it in a safe place, Every build gets its own 1/24 or 1/20 display case, and then goes on the proper display shelf in my display unit. Each shelf for now is for one type of series car. So far it's working just fine. Joel

Revisiting your build Joel. Well done! Now that Michael at Indycals is doing markings for 935K2s i'll soon be starting a red Barber Motorsports car and a black Interscope version. Thanks for showing the way.

Thanks for showing the way. Darylh, thanks so much for your Thumbs up. It's greatly appreciated. As for Michael at Indy Cals Barber and Interscope 935 decals, they're for the K3, not the K2, which is what the Beemax kit is. I've also found Hawaiian Tropic decals for the Paul Newman car, which I've just gotta build. But to do it correctly, you'll need to either modify the current nose clip, which is a big undertaking, find a conversion one online, or do what I'm doing, wait for the release of the Beemax 935 K3, of which I'm getting at least two of them. The kit is do out this fall so it's not a long wait. if you take a close look at the Interscope decals, the side view for the sheet clearly shows a different front clip where the lower light housing is round not square. I did the Valliant K2 because I liked the White scheme, and the kit had both decal options. There's also several other decal options that you can find on Spot Model if you don't want to order direct.
