1/43 Provonce Mulage kit
I used Model Car World paint, Mr Color GX-100 clear.
I grew up around the Winchester, VA area. So these guys were the local Racing Heros. Their shops are still there, used by a Car Restoration shop after PTG closed their doors.
This was one of many Group 44 Jaguars raced thru the years.

I really needed a major lift today, and your immaculate 1/43 scale Group 44 XKE BP SCCA car just made my day. Like you, I was a what we'd call today a Group 44 Groupie. I 1st met Bob and his gang in 1967 or 8 at Lime Rock Park Conn. Their cars looked unbeatable just parked on the infield grass. But as fast as they looked parked, they were the miles ahead of the competition on the track. Just great memories.
Thanks for sharing,
Joel

“British Leyland Quaker State” makes me want to start composing a series of haikus based on race car livery. Interesting model, and well-executed.
