Thank you Bernard The rivets were my first time using Archer resin rivet decals. They are finicky to work with but,I love the results. They were applied before the final wet coats of paint and looked as good as I had hoped. The decals are from Indycals and are excellent to work with. I used some leftover wheel nuts for the mirrors. Just trimmed off the wings and added a mirror face. They would have been too big to use as wheel, nuts but we're useful as mirrors.

Thanks Daryl. I've used Archer surface details (mainly they're louvers) for years. As you discovered, they are most convincing if applied just before a final, light, color coat. Their black color bleeds through and enhances the 3D effect. They are, indeed, finicky to apply, but I have found that if you religiously follow their instructions shown here on their video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=aptnvFeEqio , they'll apply quite reliably with almost zero breakup. I'll look into that wheel nut trick!

Daryl, What a fantastic build. The final results speak volumes both for you skills as well as the finished model.
