Most of these were built in the mid to late 90's, back when I was a married man with 2 kids, a station wagon and a white picket fence...you know, the way it was supposed to be? Anyway...the "newest" build here is probably about 15 years old and who knows where it is. All I have left of that "era" is a few pics. These are full size pics taken with my first digital camera. It didn't have very high resolution...1 megapixel, maybe? Yeah...it rocked! Anyway, on with the show! Alan Kulwicki's ARMY Thunderbird. 1/25 scale model with 1/24 scale decals...they didn't fit perfect but hey, it was all I had at the time! Richard Petty 64 Belvedere Ernie Irvan KODAK Film Hauler If you look real close, you can sorta make out a little black number 7 at the top of the cab/sleeper, near the Chevy sign on the trailer. I put that there as a memorial of sorts to Alan Kulwicki, who was killed during the period that I was building this...that would be 1993! (Geez, almost 30 years ago!) Oh, and that car coming out of the film box on the side? Yeah...that was one big decal! Harvick's ride when he took over after Earnhardt died....one of my first attempts a detailing. All scratched, photoetch was still a long ways away for me back then! Brett Bodine's Quaker State Thunderbird Sterling Marlin's COORS Light Dodge Bill Elliott's DODGE Dealer's Dodge Dale Jarrett's INTERSTATE Lumina (one of my all-time favorite body styles in NASCAR, along with the 89 Monte Carlo) And finally...one of my all-time favorite paint schemes...Kyle Petty's MELLO YELLO Pontiac. Might have to build this one again someday! Thanks for looking!!
