Thank you sir for the very kind words - it makes modelling just that much more fun knowing you are sharing it with fellow modellers - makes me want to try harder to do my best work

I just got a bunch of goodies from RB Motion which really inspired me to go all out on the interior of the cockpit - throttle linkage pics to come!

Here was what I was working on last night - Throttle Linkage and Shifter assembly.

This was the hardest work I have done to date on any model I have built - even tougher than the 1/43rd's I've built so that's saying something - but it was FUN!

Okay - Update on the Eagle - she has almost landed

I really hope people read this because I have to say that the last 4 days have been the most difficult and trying days of modelling I have ever endured! That's no exaggeration.

I know there was another member here who asked me to build this so that I could show him the way because he has the same resin body ... well, now I would say build it if you feel like going through the toughest build of your life!

My nemesis is front suspension - I should have learned from my Mclaren MP4/7 build when I had created a body that I was fairly pleased with and then whentackling the front suspension I literally destroyed the model - so gut wrenching after so much work - a very tough model moment. I spent 3 days on the suspension on this model - and it was 3 days of hell - mostly because I'm having to adapt the revell Reynard suspension to fit this body - I don't think I need to say anymore than that

However I persevered through a few walk aways and into the early hours of the morning 3 days in a row to get it to where I wanted it to be.

The photos here will show the progress over the last week - I completely scratch built all the Throttle Linkage that you can see photos of in this post but then when I went to installation I realized my fears while building it - it was way off scale! it's 1/18 scale I'd say - so I am going to save it and use it on a 1/18 tear down of an Action diecast that I have been wanting to do for awhile now - perhaps J. Villeneuve's Indy Winner - complete tear down and rebuild/paint etc.

So I had to start from scratch and build all new throttle linkage to scale - I created it all in one evening. I have not created a model that I scratch built more parts on than this Eagle - not even close - and she's not done yet!

I'm working hard now on finishing the rear wing and the rear aero side bits - I will post completed pics soon!

I'm just speechless. the level of scratching building is just amazing. Both the front and rear suspensions look absolutely perfect.
