Hello, Can you tell any difference between the kit's exhaust part and the one I detailed? I added 4 more parts to it. Still need some tweaking but you get the idea. Thanks,

Hello, Here are more pics of the tail rotor. At the end of their service, those tail rotors were pretty beaten up. But the one I'm replicating was in prime service at the moment, so I limited the wear on the tail rotor. Thanks, Ismael

Very nice work on that exhaust and the streaking looks great on those tail rotor blades Ismael.

Ismael, The exhaust detailing really replicated the real deal. And the rear rotor is now easier to see your weathering.

Looking good! I saw your thread over on ARC this morning and for a second, I thought, “Hey, somebody else is building one of these too!” Then the caffeine finally kicked in and I realized it was you. Ben

Ismael, You were on ARC too?. Back in my aircraft days I posted there as well as on Aeroscale/KitMaker Network. I did have my share of rivet counters, but learned just not to pay them any mind by blocking them, I never saw their posts. I can tell you that here, you're family.

It's funny. I post here as a cool group of close friends. I post there with fear of been judged and told the number of rivets is wrong... Took me 10 years to post back in there after a controversy over an airliner I did. I've been, and am still, on forums like that. I don't mind it so much if somebody's trying to help me out. What I DO mind is when someone is being abusive or belligerent. I don't play with others well when they enter into those two areas. I've been known to give constructive critique and if I don't know someone all that well I'll pull 'em aside into a very polite PM and then I'm careful about that. The PM usually works best because the "other side" doesn't feel on the defensive as much as if it were out in the open. Places like this are a good break from the norm of the rivet counter atmosphere of a lot of forums.

I agree, mustang. This forum and Modeling Madness’ forum are nice and relaxing. I’ve been active on ARC, Hyperscale, and Large Scale Planes for many years, and they can all be a bit uptight, occasionally.

It is very useful to have experts steering you in the right direction and pushing you to do your best. But like Joe said, when it gets belligerent or abusive it is no longer fun. The funny part is back a decade ago the controversy was a stupid fight among several folks over a model I built. I was not part of the controversy directly. But I still appreciate the wealth of knowledge there. That's why I went back. As of here, well, this is my main site now. I'm also in MCM which I was one of the original "founders".
Thanks,
